The Software and Model Demonstrations 2026 space, within the framework of the Colombian Computing Conference 2026 organized by the Colombian Computer Society, invites the academic, research, and professional community to present prototypes, applications, and innovative technological solutions. This setting is focused on the exhibition of live functional developments, promoting direct interaction with attendees, the validation of proposals, and the generation of collaboration opportunities, thus strengthening knowledge transfer and the practical application of computing.

Competitive Programming Marathon
Teams of three compete by solving algorithmic problems in an ICPC-style format. Open to undergraduate and graduate students.
Master's and Doctoral Symposium (SMD2026)
An academic forum designed for master's and doctoral students to present their progress, preliminary findings, or proposals for ongoing research. The symposium fosters academic dialogue, the exchange of experiences, and feedback from experts and researchers, thereby contributing to the strengthening of research training and the consolidation of collaborative networks.
Software Demonstrations
A space dedicated to showcasing prototypes, applications, platforms, systems, and technological solutions developed by researchers, students, entrepreneurs, and professionals. These demonstrations will provide an opportunity to share applied advancements, showcase functional results, and foster direct interaction with attendees.
Workshop
A competitive and collaborative space inspired by the evaluation formats of the international scientific community, in which participants tackle predefined problems using common datasets, rules, and evaluation metrics.
Networking and Social Activities
Spaces designed to foster interaction, the exchange of experiences, and the building of connections among attendees from the academic, business, and institutional sectors. These include activities such as a welcome dinner, a tour of the walled city of Cartagena, and networking events.
NALEF 2026 Labs
A shared tasks workshop focused on multilingual, multimodal, and real-world challenges across the Americas. Includes tasks on food classification, gastronomic named entity recognition, applied AI, educational technology, and computational thinking. Accepted papers are published in CEUR Workshop Proceedings.
