Computational Thinking

The SCo2 Computational Thinking Chapter promotes training, research, and innovation in computational thinking as a driver of human, educational, and social development. It is a space where science, technology, and creativity converge to form ethical, critical, and conscious digital citizens. It integrates education, research, and social action, strengthening the cognitive, creative, and technological capacities of students, teachers, and institutions.

Objectives

  • Promote strategic use of Computational Thinking to build more innovative, inclusive, and resilient societies.
  • Foster research and training in computational thinking from an interdisciplinary perspective.
  • Consolidate communities of practice and academic networks that strengthen computational thinking teaching at all educational levels.
  • Promote social innovation and digital citizenship, fostering responsible, critical, and creative use of technology.
  • Promote knowledge transfer and the construction of public policies integrating computational thinking.
  • Inspire new generations of educators, researchers, and digital leaders with ethical, social, and environmental impact.
