Data, Information and Knowledge

Data, information, and knowledge have been an innate part of how the world works. Today they take on greater relevance in terms of management, governance, and technology, driven by the growth of data volume, variety, velocity, and the value they represent. This chapter addresses topics related to data management (DAMA-DMBOK), content management, business intelligence, and enterprise analytics.

Objectives

  • Establish spaces for analysis and promotion of cutting-edge topics among academia, business, and government through symposia, conferences, workshops, webinars, and scientific articles.
  • Promote research and innovation around solutions for data, information, and knowledge management and governance.
  • Explore cooperation mechanisms with other interest groups, communities, and national/international entities to generate new knowledge and industry solutions.
