Pattern Recognition

Pattern recognition is about building models from data, using statistical and machine learning methods to construct intelligent systems. Input data can be structured or unstructured, such as words, texts, images, audio, and generally any type of data. This area is applied in various scientific and engineering disciplines, such as biology, psychology, medicine, and computer vision.

Objectives

  • Promote the study and dissemination of Pattern Recognition nationwide.
  • Contribute to the development of its members through academic and research exchange.
  • Contribute to the training and development of national research groups.
  • Establish scientific development relationships with national and international organizations.
  • Disseminate and promote Pattern Recognition among the community.
