Transformative Technologies and Sustainability
The planet's 2030 agenda commits to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals. Technologies contribute to improving citizens' lives, especially the most vulnerable, addressing challenges in poverty, health, education, and the environment. This chapter promotes activities and strategies on how technologies such as Cloud Computing, Big Data, AI, and Blockchain play an important role in the development of the different productive sectors of the region and the country.
Objectives
- Promote technology transfer and appropriation to address global challenges through dissemination and training activities.
- Participate in workshops, conferences, and other research activities focused on transformative technologies and sustainability.
- Promote cooperation between academia, government, and the productive sector to contribute to solving problems through technology.
